
Todd Lawrence

Over the past 15 years, Todd has amassed considerable experience in acquiring, financing, operating and selling companies in the business services sector. Prior to founding Sequential, Todd was a member of Dun & Bradstreet, Corp.’s senior leadership team. As head of Corporate Development, Todd drove inorganic growth through the origination, evaluation and execution of a dozen transactions in a three year period. He also took on significant operational responsibility, leading product management and development efforts for the company’s rapidly expanding Digital Media business.
Prior to joining D&B, Todd was a senior member of Qwest Communication’s Strategy and Development group. Todd’s contributions at Qwest enabled the company to protect and enhance shareholder value, including the successful restructuring of $24B of debt, the divestiture of several non-core assets and the operational improvement of key business lines. Todd joined Qwest from Arbros Communications, a venture-backed competitive telecommunications firm, where he helped raise $300M of funding and led key aspects of the company’s marketing and operations efforts.
Todd began his career at Salomon Smith Barney as a member of the Investment Banking Division’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Sponsors practices. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he graduated with High Distinction, and a BA from The Colorado College. |
Ben Knoll

Ben joined Sequential in 2009, bringing with him significant deal sourcing, evaluation, execution and integration experience. Prior to joining Sequential, Ben was an investment executive at León, Mayer & Co., a private equity and financial advisory firm. Ben was previously a Manager of Corporate Development for Dun & Bradstreet, Corp., and began his career at RSM EquiCo, Inc., a boutique investment bank specializing in providing financial advisory services to the private middle market. Ben received his BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating as a Joseph Wharton Scholar and Benjamin Franklin Scholar. |
John Estafanous

John lends considerable entrepreneurial and operating expertise to Sequential, having successfully founded, developed, managed and integrated digital media and software businesses. John is currently a senior executive at a large advertising / PR firm with responsibility for the company’s Digital practice. He has held senior positions within this industry for several years, following the sale of his early stage company, Escto Medical, to WhittmanHart. John founded Estco and served as its President and CEO, successfully utilizing bootstrap financing to grow the company and become a leading player in the life sciences interactive marketing space. John holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA from American University. |
